Hydraulic Cylinders

Laystall design and manufacture a wide range of bespoke hydraulic cylinders which are used in a variety of applications such as marine, material handling equipment, earth moving machines, agricultural tractors, waste management, commercial vehicle tail and underfloor lifts, household lifts and goods access lifts.

Design & Engineering

Laystalls' design, development and manufacturing expertise, together with the Company's total commitment to world-class quality and service ensures our hydraulic cylinders are specified by many of the world's leading equipment manufacturers. Computer aided design and manufacture (CAD/CAM) together with value engineering (VE) ensure that all Laystall products are cost effective and fit for purpose. Design verification (FEA), durability testing and failure mode and effect analysis (FMEA) can also be undertaken.

Once all the design parameters are agreed with the Customer, detailed drawings are produced using our CAD system. This digital drawing data is then used to create the CNC programs for the manufacturing processes. If required, assemblies including hydraulic cylinders can be verified for durability by cycle testing at Laystall on behalf of the Customer for engineering pass off purposes.

After Sales

All Laystall products are covered by a 12-month warranty. Optional extended warranties for specific customer applications are also available and subject to negotiation. Laystall is totally committed to the OEM requirements and fully supports their Spare Parts operations, meeting all their end user demands whether it is for a complete cylinder or individual components.

Packaging

Packing methods are designed to suit customer line-side delivery and wherever possible deliveries are transported by our own dedicated commercial vehicle fleet.

Laystall also has many years of experience in exporting cylinders and spare parts Worldwide to the customer's global facilities, dealer network and the end users.

We offer a comprehensive range of packaging to meet the individual customers needs, from pallets, stillages; wooden crates to individual items in dedicated boxes.

Painting

Hydraulic cylinders are generally delivered primer painted but can be gloss finish painted to Customers' colours if required.

Powder coating

Our latest paint facility exceeds the OEM standards and provides flexibility in terms of colour and the coating thickness is applied to cater for the various customer specifications.
